The Problem
This client was struggling with business growth due to low web traffic (avg. 300 visits/month) in a niche market and minimal brand awareness. They were paying an agency thousands per month for backlinking in an attempt to boost website authority and increase rank, but not seeing results.
Steps We Took
We put together an SEO content strategy for them with target keywords to map out blog topics/titles and taught them how to perform SEO for their blogs. They started publishing 1-3 blogs per week (1000+ words) paired with monthly and quarterly featured content (guides, e-books, etc.). We promoted the content on social media and via an email newsletter.

Over the past year, they received 463 MQLs (Marketing Qualified Leads) from organic search alone, and 49 of them were multi-million and billion-dollar companies.

The Problem/Emery’s Results:
This client had been paying thousands per month to an ad agency that was generating an average of one lead per month at $411 cost per lead. This chart displays the former agency’s performance during the prior month compared to the first 30 days of the new Emery Marketing campaigns’ performance with the same monthly ads budget, and our performance two years in.
Steps We Took
The beauty of this project was that we performed no budget increase to generate dramatic results in as quickly as the first 30 days. We created new, optimized campaigns that immediately exceeded current performance and decreased their cost per click by 83.6%. Over time I’ve refined and optimized the ads to attract high-quality, larger leads at an 85% lower cost per lead.

As a result of the high-quality leads and consistent lead volume, their business has been able to shift to a larger target customer size and they met their annual sales pipeline goal in Q1.
